A Cat’s Life

This is Miss Bella and Sele…the two cats who make our mom happy no matter what we’re doing and how she’s feeling. A fan left a comment and asked how we’re settling in, so we thought we’d show you how we’ve been.

Bella and GrassShhhhh, don’t tell anyone but I LOVE grass…kitty grass that is. Our mommy buys it for us every weekend from something called a “farmer’s market” and then she brings it to us for our dining delight. Notice, there’s two of these plants, one for me, Bella and the otherĀ  Sele. We don’t like to share hence the two plants.

Sele at windowMy sister, Bella likes to look out the front window while I prefer to look out this one. It’s more quiet and I can hear the birdies chirping to me.

Bella WindowHere’s where I get to look out at my domain where I can rest comfortably on my kitty condo castle. I know it’s not the same as when we lived in the other place, but it is fun watching all the humans scurrying about. I’m actually pretty happy here.

Sele's boxAt night time, when I want to quiet down, I go to my special box bed where I get a break from everyone. Not for long though because I still want to snuggle with my mom and never leave her side. She gets lonely out here, she tells us and we’re the one’s who make her happiest. It’s a big job for two little kitties but we’re up for it because we love our mommy so much.

So, that’s a little peek into our new life. Stay tuned as we keep you updated to our latest adventures or whatever you want to call them.

About Wendy S.

I'm slightly "mad" with a good shaking of whimsy thrown in for good measure. When I'm not up, I'm down and sometimes if I'm lucky I'm somewhere in between due largely to having Bipolar Disorder and crazy genes ; ) I'm pagan by nature and witch by choice and I have two very beloved and spoiled feline familiars, Miss Bella and her sister, Sele. Am I a crazy cat lady? I'm an introvert in the "real" world but I love meeting new friends especially in the blogosphere where I've been blessed to meet many of you. Please introduce yourself if you'd like so that we can get to know each other better, especially if you have a blog that I can visit. And thank you for flying the friendly skies of United Broom Stick Airlines with me. Hold onto your hat, it's going to be an interesting ride.

  1. Hi, girls! Glad you’re comfy in your new home and getting lots of noms. I wish many fun adventures for you there. I’m going on another adventure myself next week but shhhhhhhhhh, don’t mention it to anyone yet — especially not to my human, Debra She Who Seeks, because the less she knows about it, the better!

    It looks like you are settling in well, Bella. I wish my Mom would get her lazy self out of bed and go to the Farmer’s Market and come back with good stuff like cat grass. I hope you just love your new home.

    Hey special kitten cats. So glad you are settling in so well. Looks like you two have most everything two wonder kittys require. Snuggle close to your momma and tell her it is from Oma Linda. She is such a sweet lady and I am very fond of her and worry about her.
    Take good care of Momma and yay for you two cuties. Oma Linda

    Your mommy is very lucky to have you two pretty kitties and she’s a good mom, I can tell. I have depressive disorder and my kitties are the ones who I get up for every morning.
    Brightest Blessings and Hugs.

    Hello Bella and Sele! (Bella, you share a name with my granddaughter!) I’m glad you are settling in to your new home. You both have very important jobs as bestest friends of your mommy. There is nothing like a cat or two to turn a new place into a home. (it’s the “purr” magic!) Please say hi to your Mommy for me and keep working your kitty magic to help her settle into her new home and community!

  8. It’s good to see that you are settling in! We’re sorry your mom is feeling lonely. You need to make sure that you take very very very good care of her!! Make sure that she reaches out to others when she needs a human hug, even if it’s just virtual. I think your mom has my email if she wants to talk. Is your mom on Facebook? I’m on FB. Look for Audrey in my profile pic and there should be a link to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde page.

    ::HUGS::
