Neil Gaiman’s New Years Benedictions

The author Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors ever and I know he’s one for many of you as well. I just watched this video that I saw on his blog today. It’s one of the most wonderful and magickal New Year’s “benedictions” I’ve heard. I hope you do receive and experience everything Neil wishes for all of us and more…And definitely check out some of his books/comics and art/film work, etc.. if you haven’t read any, it would be a gift to yourself for 2011!

Wendy thank you so much for all your amazing help in 2010! With out your help I don’t think blogging would be quite the same. I am excited to see what new opportunities arrive in 2011. My phrase for 2011 is makin’ it happen in 11 so let us put that into action!

I just finished “The Graveyard Book” and was absolutely enchanted. I’m not going to have to read everything he’s written, I’m afraid! Have you read that one? If not, you must!

Happy New Year and I agree with you on the below post on resolutions. I make ONE every year and that guarantees it’ll become a life habit. So far I’ve succeeded in four out of five. Not bad I think.

Thank you for commenting on my blog post about our 2011 career outlook. I responded to your comment there. I must apologize for not visiting you here recently. We hosted family at our house over the holidays, some stayed here with us, so I haven’t been online much at all.

Neil. Yet another thing we have in common! Have I told you I was able to attend his reading of the last chapter of The Graveyard Book? It was held in a beautiful old church and listening to his voice, well, it sent me close to Heaven! His talent is amazing and I must thank you for sharing the beauty he expressed in this video.
