I’ve waited a long time to meet one of my Faerie Godmother’s and she finally arrived when I least expected her. This last October was one of the most magickal and busy times I’ve ever had. Giveaways galore and blog parties where I met new friends and new blogs to follow. It all started with the “Practical Magic” blog party which was my first introduction to one of my Faery Godmother’s.
I remember visiting Theresa’s blog (who was also participating in the “P.M” party )and meeting her two beloved companions, “Neo” and “Willow. I used to have a Keeshond when I was a little girl named “Trinket” so I felt an immediate kinship with Theresa. She was having this incredible giveaway, which I eyed with a deep longing and crossed my fingers.
There were so many giveaways in October that I wanted to win, but they weren’t meant for me and so I said to myself, “Wendy, the right giveaway will find you and it’ll be just perfect for you. ” Theresa emailed me a couple of weeks ago and told me I won her “Practical Magic Giveaway.” My first giveaway that I’ve won! So, I’d like to show you the incredibly beautiful and magickal goodies I won as well as showing you how my “girls” Miss Bella and Sele helped me to open the box.
My first bundle was wrapped beautifully in tissue and had a special key attached to it. I love old keys and this one reminded me of one from a favorite childhood book of mine; “The Secret Garden.” Sele knew immediately that this was no ordinary key!
As I explored further into my package, all these magickal Autumn leaves fell out whisking me away to the land of the Dryads. Inside the tissue which had the key attached to it, was a very, very special necklace which I put on right away loving it. Yesterday and a friend of mine saw my necklace and said, “Wendy, that looks exactly like you as a little girl!”
I then unwrapped a bundle which was a little jar of “Absinthe Soft Bubbling Scrub” reminding me of fairy tale forests. There was also a bag of tea that smells like cinnamon and antique roses. A small white pumpkin lay inside given to Cinderella by her Faery Godmother and a small bag of Candy Corn that which I ate immediately. My last little package had a “delicate/fragile” sticker attached to it. And this is what was inside of it…
A perfect little tea set made for an afternoon tea as I sit with the Forest Fae. Miss Bella sniffed inside the box to see if there were any cat treats for her, but after finding none, she crawled off to her cat tree unamused!
Sele though, of course thought this box was a gift for her and proceeded to investigate it further.
Look at how beautiful everything is!
I also love reading Theresa’s blog and hope you fly on over so you can see how special she is. She also has her own Etsy shop where you can find unique and whimsical treasures full of faery-goodness.
I felt so happy winning this that I decided to have a small giveaway myself. I have always loved Oak Trees and I collect acorns for their magick and beauty. In another incarnation of mine, I was an Oak Tree Dryad which is why I still love the ancient Oaks that live close to my house. I knew I wanted to give away something special that another Oak Tree dryad would appreciate and enjoy, so I am giving away this enchanting set of acorn jewelry.
Aren’t they beautiful? The pair on the right jingles as you move.
Now, if you want to win these, here’s how you enter:
1) Leave a comment with your name and tell me what your favorite tree is and why you like it. (I’m not going to pick a winner based on your answer, I promise. I just like learning more about you.) Please make sure I have a way to contact you as well.
For extra chances, (but not mandatory at all and please leave separate comments for each entry) you can:
A) Blog about my giveaway and then leave the link to your blog post.
B) Twitter about it and then let me know.
C) Add Theresa’s Etsy Shop as one of your favorites on the Etsy site and then leave a comment here telling me what your favorite item from her shop is.
I will announce the winner a week from now on: November 17th. Your last chance to enter will be; November 16th, 10:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time).
I know whomever wins will love it. And this jewelry has also been blessed by Sele, so that makes it extra special. See, she’s adding her own feline magick!

I love your blog, Aisha and each time I visit I receive SO much great info. I used to live in a town called, “Thousand Oaks” where there were Oaks everywhere and protected. Don’t you just feel the history and stories they have to tell? I always knew you were a sister dryad ; ) Thanks for entering.
Added her shop to my favorites, along with falling in love with the peppermint earring (so me) or even the gryphon earrings I love them so much!!!

but after this one I’m gonna start trying again lol.
Its a beautiful giveaway yet again Wendy. Good Job!
And look at your gifts. Aren’t they so cute. the tea set and witch necklace. Loving the key too. I think people have a strange fascination with keys that are old like that. Or at least I do. I <3 Skeleton keys!!!
Jaimie- Lyn Oldfield recently posted.. Loving it
I know I’m so happy with my gifts. I told Lyn, I would bring up my tea set when I visited her in England and I KNOW that when I come to visit you, we’ll bring our tea set into the forests near you and invite the fae to come sit with us. Keys are really spiritual, aren’t they? Symbolically and just their physical beauty are magickal.
Keys make me want to find a big old house and start exploring…. Narnia and the secret garden, here I come.
Jaimie- Lyn Oldfield recently posted.. Bald girl in the Medical field
Oh me too, Jamie-Lyn! Especially creepy old houses. Are we going to explore houses like this when I come and visit you? And I can’t believe how dumb I was when I left a comment on your last post thinking you were applying for a job. Doh! You know that saying “it’s a good think you have your head attached on or otherwise you’d forget it?” That’s me ; ) So, very excited to hear about you returning to school. I love school supplies even though I hated school with a passion. And while I can’t enter you for this giveaway (I don’t like entering anyone twice in a row) please know that I’m going to be having a few more giveaways coming up really soon and I hope you’ll enter. Do I owe you an email? ; )
Hi Wendy,
First of all, I am happy that you are so happy with Theresa’s goodies — they were definitely meant for you!
Thanks for offering such unique jewelry to win — it’s indeed very beautiful!
As for my favorite tree, I had to think about that for a while because I like nearly all sorts of trees. If I had to pick a favorite one, I would say a Japanese maple tree. They have such wonderful, deep red leaves.
Hugs,
Birgit
PS: Thanks again for the award — it has been very much.
I put a link to your giveaway on my blog’s sidebar — gotta spread the word!
Hugs,
Birgit
Oh, I definitely “heart” Theresa’s Etsy shop.
My current favorite item are the Peppermint Swirl Holiday Earrings. Can you believe that such peppermint candy isn’t available in Germany? Sad but true…
Good night, have sweet dreams!
– Birgit
No, I can’t believe that peppermint isn’t available? How bizarre considering Schnapps and all the other pastries that are made there. Hmmm, you might has struck a gold mine if you start making peppermint candy there. I can also send you some if you want? Seriously….Thank you for putting up the link and you definitely deserved the “Clucking Great Blog Award” ; ) I love Japanese Maples myself, and for some reason, it doesn’t surprise me that you like them. They’re colorful, fiery and are beautiful to look at!
What lovely prizes! And, a very generous giveaway. My favorite tree is, I think, the willow. It was hard to choose but, I love the willow because it seems to be a very magical and mysterious tree just by the looks of it.

Joane Duran recently posted..Lovely Giveaway
Wow, thank you Joane for blogging, twittering and entering. I know all of Theresa’s treasures are beautiful! The Willow and the Oak seem to be the trees of choice. The willow reminds me of an enchanted queen combing her long hair by a stream.
Even though I’m not entering the draw. I wanted to tell you that my favorite tree is the Weeping Willow. I plan to put on in my back yard when I buy a house one day I have dreams of sitting under its branches on summer days, reading a good book.
Also the willows has alot of magical uses as well as normal everyday uses. Like Soak willow bark in water for a few days and it can be used as a rooting agent. So you can take snips of other plants and trees. Dip them in and plant them and they’ll grow roots
Neato huh.
Jaimie- Lyn Oldfield recently posted.. Loving it
When you talked of soaking a Willow it reminded me of the fact that most N. American tribes use the Willow for sweat lodges (Pocahontas Princess ; ) because they bend so easily and represent spirit and love. What a good idea about the willow bark! I would love for you to blog about this. I love reading about trees and the experiences people have with them. How about you posting a picture of you lazily dreaming under a willow? ; )
I could do that. I did blog about my weeping Mulberry tree already….. so perhaps I just might. There are plenty around where I live…Cause I’m lucky like that
Jaimie- Lyn Oldfield recently posted.. Bald girl in the Medical field
I have to go check out your “Weeping Mulberry” post! I’m sure it’s as gothic and wonderful as you are. What’s the link?
I’m so happy you won Wendy. Absolutely beautiful gifts to find their way to your mail box
My favourite tree is the Weeping Willow like Jaimie-Lyn. We used to have one in my infant school and on those very rare occasions the sun would come out in England I loved to sit in the shade under the tree.
Lyn recently posted..Q is for Queenstown Road
Thank you Lyn, when I come to visit you, I’ll bring my tea set and you and I and Tabitha can sit in the country for the fae to show up! I can see you like “fair Ophelia” sitting under a Willow dreaming away. I can’t how many times that trees have taken me away to another world and have soothed me. We all need esp. when we’re children. Was your school pretty?
My favorite was always a chestnut and then an oak. The jewellery is really beautiful!

What a lovely gift you received! The tea set is delightful! :0)
My favorite tree – this is tough – but I must say, The Sweetgum Tree. I have a large one outside my back door and she has provided shade during the hot Summers, beautiful golden colors in the Autumn, and a plethora of sweetgum balls filled with seeds for the birds to eat over the Winter.
Absolutely LOVE all the goodies in Faery Moon Goddess’ shop. But here is the link to my fav – the flower & bird necklace. http://www.etsy.com/listing/58514442/fairy-song-ooak-beaded-flower-and-bird

Ahhh, a Sweet-Gum, tree, I’ve never heard of that one before. I’m going to look one up! They sound beautiful esp. as they’re a natural bird giveaway. Thank you for teaching me about a new tree!
Wow, your prizes are gorgeous! I would have loved to have won that giveaway as well!
As for my favorite tree; Oaks. Growing up we had several big old oak trees on our property and I was always drawn to them, I spent countless hours playing and resting in their shade. Weeping willows have always been a far less commonly spotted tree in my life, but I love them as well.

Yayyy, more Oak dryads. Here where I grew up in So. Cal all the faires’ were always surrounded by Oak Trees which reminded me of the Ren. Faire post you recently wrote (and loved.) There’s something so pagan like and old world about them.
Congratulations on your wins! October was your lucky month.
The acorn jewelery is gorgeous….even though my favorite tree is the weeping willow. My grandmother had two of the biggest I’ve ever seen growing in her front yard. I love the grace of their sweeping branches and I’ve just always equated them with peace and contentment.
It’s really interesting to see how many people love the Willow Tree. The willow is one of the only trees that can move with storms and is always near water. I like your connection to them with the peace and contentment. They do look really serene and feminine
Its true. Which is also why you should not put a willow close to a septic tank. They will break through to the “water”. ew.
They are like the gentle sad giant of the tree world.
Jaimie- Lyn Oldfield recently posted.. Loving it
Funny you should mention that, Jaimie. My grandmother’s trees had their roots in a deep ditch that ran along the front of her (rural) property. The ditch was where the overflow from the septic system/leech bed ran off to. We had no doubt as to why those willows were the biggest we’d ever seen. :/
See what beauty can come from sh*t
lol

Ohhh these are just gorgeous! I would have to say that my favorite tree is the Mountain Ash. It is beautiful all year long and it is also the tree for the month of March when I was born.
Oh let luck be on my side these are soooo beautiful!
Faerie Sage, checking in, as you know I’ll be back again soon…
Oh I have never been over to Theresa’s etsy shop before I love her stuff!
I think the Titania Oak necklace is lovely, then again who can resist those candy-cane like earrings! Love this shop, a new favorite!
Faerie Sage
I know totally gorgeous stuff Theresa has doesn’t she? And hmmm, I wonder why you’re drawn to the “Titania necklace”? ; ) It’s interesting that you chose the Ash, Faerie Sage. Ash is one of the 9 Sacred Woods used in Wicca. And I read how busy you are with home/family life, I’ll be interested to hear all your adventures.
Ahh yes life does seem to keep me busy, and I want to have kids in the future! Guess I am practicing for a really busy life! Thanks so much for your comments on all my Posts of Truth. My fave tree is the Japanese maple. They are abundant where I live here in the Pacific Northwest and the way they change colors, especially one like we have in our yard, which turns a gorgeous scarlet red, is just breathtaking.
These acorn pieces are beautiful, what a nice giveaway!
You and Birgit said, the Japanese Maple and it is gorgeous. Very few trees can get away with dresses of scarlet! Where in the Pacific N. West do you live Julie? I love that area! I’m so glad that people are liking the acorn jewelry : )
Wendy, I live in Bellingham, WA which is almost as far north you can get before you get to Canada (half hour drive). It is beautiful here, quite a bit different from L.A. where I grew up!
Actually, I know where Bellingham is because I have an “ex” who lived there. I used to love it there and Whidbey Island! Oh, I’d love to see some photos of yours there. And yeah, I grew up in L.A. too ; ) I haven’t escaped So. Cal yet but at least I’m about two hours north of that city which gives me a little peace. Do you have a blog, Julie? I’d love to visit you.
Small world, eh? That you would have an “ex” here in my little town is funny, maybe someone I know (no, don’t tell me his name, we’ll protect his privacy!) I love the islands too, used to live on Orcas Island.
No, Wendy, I don’t have a blog but love to read everyone else’s and like to make new friends that way. Glad to have found yours!
The world is smaller than we think, isn’t it Julie? I’ll just say his last name was “Pena”. Now if that rings a bell for you Julie, then we need to talk more ; ) I would love to live on Orcas Island. I actually spend a really beautiful month on one with Mr. Pena, lol..the scenery was a much better companion than he was though ; ) Have you run into “Edward and Bella” yet? You’re in a super paranormal realm there.
It took me a long time to start a blog and I used to read others and make friends that way too. And I second your thoughts and I’m glad you found my blog too and I hope we continue to get to know each other better : )
Hearted the shop (etsy name jhbalvin) and my fave piece is the Put a Little Love in Your Heart necklace, maybe cuz of the name, but also it’s a lovely piece and Hearts are my favorite symbol.

Congrats on your magical package! I laughed at Miss Bella’s unamused expression at there being nothing in the box for her.
I LOVE the acorn jewelry, so pretty! My fav tree is the Pecan tree. We have two huge ones in our front yard. They annoyed me at first, because they shed branches constantly, and one even crashed on our house. Now, I adore that all the squirrels in the neighborhood live in our yard. The pecan trees offer so much living space AND provide all the nuts a squirrel could need! I watch them play all day and chase eachother up the trees, and it makes me smile. I also hear them making a laughing sound at my cats, right before they quickly scurry up the tree out of their reach.
I knew you would appreciate the smugness and boredom of Miss Bella, she’s complaining at me now as I write this to you. You have a Pecan Tree? They’re my favorite nuts. Do you eat them or is it a hassle to dry and roast them? I have squirrels here too that are always taunting the girls. They’re cute, but they still remind me of big rats ; ) And thank you, thank you Leila for putting my giveaway up on your blog. I feel really honored as you happen to be one of my favorite bloggers and people. You already know what I think of your art and can’t wait for you to make some more gorgeous art for Xmas. A Day of the Dead Xmas kitty? ; )
Aww, thanks Wendy!
When we first moved here, we gathered all of the pecans and took them to a place that removed the shells. That was fun! To do it yourself though is a lot of work, so we just leave them on the ground now. I do love the taste of pecans, but they tatse better when someone else has cleaned and roasted them for you!
DOTD x-mas kitty…I like it! Hmmm….(wheels turning)
I think I’ll have to come over and dry and then roast some pecans with you ; ) And if you DO make any Xmas DOTD kitties, I want to know about it first, Leila : )

Hi Sue, I don’t think it’s just WordPress where people are having major computer issues. I just tried to leave a comment on a blogger post and ALMOST lost it, except I use Firefox Browser and have the textarea cache plugin which saves all the text you post anywhere on the internet. Perhaps I’ll start blogging about Firefox and how it has made my life so much easier. I’m sorry you lost your comment, I get really frustrated when that happens, grrrrr…I’m so glad you re-commented even though it’s not the original. First, let me reassure you that when I commented “I’ve learned a lot about you” I meant to say, “I’ve learned a lot FROM you” and fully in the good sense. My ADD really plays with me sometimes. I love your Xmas tree story and have a little “Charlie Brown” Xmas tree in my own backyard that’s still pretty small. Your house and all the trees sound gorgeous, Sue! I hope you post photos of some of your trees. I absolutely love trees. I think that the path of the Druid is very similar to N. American Shamanism with the love for nature and it doesn’t surprise me at all that you found a synchronistic post here (not ominous though, I hope ; ) There’s a great book written by a N. American Medicine man named Ed McGaa and I think it’s called “Rainbow Tribes” and he talks in really good length and detail about the similarities of Pre-Christian Celtic spirituality (paganism and druids) compared to a shamans path. I think you’d really like it. When you talked about all your favorite trees, you reminded me of one of the flower faeries that Cicely Mary-Barker which I loved and grew up with as a little girl. I can just see all the different tree friends you have and how beautiful they all look. Quince is an interesting tree, I haven’t thought of, but I like it. Thank you so much, Sue for all your great comments. I always enjoy reading them.
LONG but WONDERFUL read for YOU and MANY of your COMMENTORS
Hello dear friend,
OMG!! it is an omen that you are posting about trees, and OAKs in particular…light a candle for me tonight for enlightenment on my path and discernment! here’s is why.
First off…I have ALWAYS,ALWAYS loved acorns…you can ask my mom, I used to try and find recipes for them, and could not understand why other tree nuts were so tasty (Walnuts, pecans, chestnuts etc) and acorns were so bitter. I also used to paint them, and decorate with them etc. Now as a grown up, when ever I produce some Autumn art like an ATC or a 4 X 4 I ALWAYS, hang an acorn charm on it somewhere.
Additionally as a child I also loved being in the woods, hiking etc. I loved being around trees I loved to sit outside under them and read or play board games or with my barbie’s and paperdolls etc, and if I wasn’t doing those girlie things then i was hiking the path along the brook near my home, climbing in the trees and collecting salamanders and polywogs etc.
OK…Now I live in the woods on 5 acres (well 4.77, but who’s counting) The “front yard” Between the barn and the street(and around the house) is probably about 2 acres. It is LOADED with trees, looks like a park, we have numerous canopy Maples, that turn a lovely yellow in Autumn and carpet our property like no one’s business. Ron MUST use the leaf blower and a tarp DAILY in order to stay on top of them, or come spring, they will still be covering everything. We also have Black Walnut, Locust, Holly, Birch, Oak ( just one or 2), Catawba, Peach(just starting bear) and Pear(old and no longer bearing)
Then there are all the evergreens. We have 4-5 that TOWER over our 2 story house by at least another 20′, one of those is a white pine, and one is a hemlock, the other three I am not sure off and would have to look up in our tree book. we have other white pines and spruces including 3 amazing blue spruces up by the swing set we put up and the sand box Ron built. In 1986 when we moved in, these spruce were about my height or a little taller (I’m 5’4″) The regular spruce in front of the house was about a foot taller than me, and every Christmas I faithfully loaded this spruce with those lovely mini white lites.
People would stop their cars to look at the tree, some would take pictures, some would knock on the door and tell us how beautiful the tree was.
One year when the tree was 0ver 10′ tall and I was struggling with a stick and a step later to get the lights on it my next door neighbor walked over (an old man). I came down from the later, thinking maybe he needed to borrow something. He took my hand, (I was surprised) He said;
“Susan, before I move away, or die, or that tree gets too big for you to string lights on it, I must tell you how beautiful it is and has been all these years. It inspired Dot so much, and she sit by the window in the evening just staring at it for long, long moments and and was so touched by it’s beauty. We know that the Toth’s (the people we bought the house from) never bothered to decorate anything, but they also never cared for the trees. You remember how unruly all of them were when you moved in, I shook my head yes. When we saw Ron out there within weeks of moving in, pruning and cutting away the dead, and the heavy woody chunks of the lilac and other bushes and trimming so wild forsythias along the fence, we knew what kind of people were moving in here.” (I got a little choked up) he went on, ” We knew you were very pregnant, and Dot went to work making something for the baby, you remember, I said yes I did, a small receiving blanket and a lovely burping towel. (Not to mention the jar of homemade grape jam, and a home made loaf of white bread she called me over to the fence to collect on our 3rd day in the house.) (I choked up some more) “Dotty was so happy to have a new family here, a young and growing family. But this tree, this tree really moved her, and she was determined to make some trees to go with our houses (They made doll houses and miniature’s and sold them at juried craft shows) She had the darnedest time finding itty bitty lights to put on them, but she finally did. Even though she had only made a handful of trees like yours for the houses, she was so pleased to be able to light them up. It was like the calm before the storm, (he had a few tears in his eyes now) only we didn’t know that at the time. I know we all basically keep to ourselves out here, but ya wave, ya might chew the fat over the fence once in a while, that is how it has always been out her. but not with those Toth’s…they never even waved. Anyway, back to the tree, Dot would count the days after thanksgiving, waiting for you to lite her up. Then she’d be almost jumping for joy and exclaim, well, it’s official, it is Christmas in Brookville! (our little “lost village of the pine barrens”) Anways, I know we never had dinner together or anything, and now I am not sure why not, we should have…but anyway, I just wanted you to know, how much we enjoyed living next to you, and seeing that beautiful testament to love and beauty each Christmas. I know Dotty will be counting the days again this year.” and he looked up and said; “Won’t ya darlin’?”(you see Dotty died the summer right before this, in her sleep– a brain anuerysm) “Thank you again for being such nice neighbors, and for having such a beautiful yard to look at, and once a year bringing all of us a sign of hope for the year ahead.” He bend down and hugged me, and walked back towards his house. I was speechless for a moment and then yelled; “Herb, Thank you!” he just smiled and waved me off.
Out Back, our wooded property is MOSTLY oaks with some scrub pines, mountain laurel (flowering bush–endangered) some more birch, maples and locust etc.
Flash back: Ron and I met in 1984, we were both mail carriers, he pursued me greatly I finally gave in to go out for a drink and we became a couple. One day I mentioned to him in Oct that I was going to use my xmas tips to buy a cord of wood (The house I rented had a fireplace) he laugh out load and said; “stick with me kid, and I’ll show you how to never spend a dime on firewood, Nature will provide us with the wood we need.” (we was going to move in with me the following month) so He took me “woodsing” with 2 bow saws and his big 2 man saw. within 3 hours we had filled the back of the station wagon and his small trailer with wood, trees that were already down, or tree tops, or small dead trees. I was amazed. two weekends later we went out again, with also a chainsaw and his tree climbing equipment. He had borrowed a buddies pick up truck. again within only a few hours the back of the truck was full to overflowing with wood. Word started getting around at the PO, and people wanted to buy FW from us, or have us come take a tree or 2 down for them. Thus we started our business…”G&S Tree and Firewood Service” the g was for his last name, and the S for mine at the time. we were in business for 5 years…and there are lots of stories there including one, where a large tree he was falling almost landed on me(missed me by 6 feet)
ANYWAY…you KNOW I am reading and learning and trying to find my right pagan path. I have already been leaning toward shamanism, due to my Cherokee heritage (part of my muttly mix) Then last night I read a couple of chapters on Druidism, and that got me thinking about my life long love of trees, and my husbands love and caring for trees. and i decided that i needed to look more into this, in addition to shamanism.
THEN today you have this post!! OMG GF!!! Is this not Ominous???
Ok, as far as fav trees, I have always been partial to Willows, one…because I had a huge one in my backyard growing up, and 2 because of their lovely grace and beauty when the breeze or wind stirs them. so I’d have to say my overall 2 favorite trees are Oak and Willow.
My favorite Autumn trees are Maple and Gum. My favorite decorative tree is a Japanese flowering willow. (although flowering Quince and Flowering Crap Apple are beautiful also, and who DOESN’T like a cherry tree with their sweet blossoms)
Now lastly a quick question…you said “I’ve learned a lot about you” on my 30 days of truth post for yesterday, LOL is that a good thing??
Hugs,

Hi Pam, thank you for visiting my blog with Oskar. I visit your blog all the time and just put your blog badge up on my sidebar because I know everyone who is owned by a pet would love your blog. The Spruce is not only gorgeous but also smells wonderful. I love to use soap smelled like Spruce.
Hugs to Oskar : )
I truly love all trees, they all have such wonderful individual characteristics.
Congrats on the great gifts, and the pictures of the kitties are too funny, give them a box or a paper bag and their happy.
Thanks Hela for the congrats. : ) When the girls were playing with all the wrappings it reminds me when a child is bought this expensive store bought toy and they’d rather play with something really simple. My niece’s favorite “toy” was a salad spinner, lol…You know those things you put wet lettuce in to dry them? And her mother had bought all these beautiful toys for her and she wanted the salad spinner. I just know when I get a package, the girls will think it’s for them and let them have their “gift” : )
This is a great giveaway!
I would have to say oak trees. I grew up in the house I live in now and I am surrounded by them. I played under them as a child and then with my own kids. The sound of their leaves rustling and the crunch of acorns under my feet are just a couple of the many comforts of home.

I love the imagery you came up with Erin for the Oak trees and all their magic. I immediately could see the image and smell the scent of the tree and feeling the acorns. Fantastic, thank you for the mini-vacation : ) I know there’s a lot of things to like at Theresa’s etsy store. Thanks for commenting and sharing with me your fave. tree : ) I just noticed your email name, Is that “Malfoy” as in “H. Potter” Malfoy? My kind of woman!! We need to talk more ; 0
I added the etsy shop and have to say all of her stuff is soo cute it was hard to choose. I really like the Birds and Blossoms – OOAK Vintage Style Pearls and Roses Necklace. The little nest is so charming.
