I love the word and idea of “wishing…” I see it as putting your hearts desire out into the Universe and then waiting to see how it’s manifested. So, I’ve decided to participate in Jamie Ridler’s “Wishcasting Wednesday.”
This is what Jamie writes about “Wishcasting Wednesday”…
Wishcasting Wednesday is a safe haven for wishes, a fertile field in which to plant wish seeds and have them witnessed and tended lovingly. It’s a place where magic begins.
Make a Wish: Dare to dream. Every Wednesday here at Jamie Ridler Studios, there will be a wish prompt to inspire you, but you can always wish for whatever you like, whenever you like. If you’d like to share your wish on your blog or website, there will be a space here for you to share your link so that others can visit and help tend your wish.
Support wishes: Be a maker of magic and a tender of wishes. It’s easy. Visit fellow wisher’s sites and support their wish by leaving them a comment with the simple words “As (insert name ) wishes for her/himself, so I wish for her/him also.” It’s that simple. And if you’ve made a wish, help people know how they can support you by including a request in your post that people use these magical words of encouragement. This is a powerful phrase that includes a belief in the wisher as well as the wish.
Today’s wish is about “tending” which for me is the act of nurturing, cultivating and “taking under one’s wing.” Especially now that Spring is here, tending draws the energy of new growth and life. It’s the blessing of the maiden goddess and the act of devotion and tender care.

I wish to tend to my blog more by,
paying attention to my posts and letting my muse speak from my heart…
acknowledging my readers and being grateful that there are people like yourself who care enough and are interested in my life (something I never take for granted…
watching with curiosity where my life is taking me and how I write about my process…
and extending myself to others in the blogosphere who give so graciously to others with glimpses into their own world…
It took me a long time to start this blog and was often stopped in the tracks because of my anxiety and need for “perfection” as well as doubting that I would have the energy and commitment to tend my blog the way I wanted to.
But, I did it and here I am today, consciously acknowledging the art of blogging and wishing that my blog keeps growing and blossoming bringing forth new flowers and possibilities with careful tending.
If you’d like to cash a wish for yourself and visit the web of wishers, please visit Jamie’s blog and I send you all wishes that tend to your spirit and soul.

what a beautiful idea!
As Wendy wishes for herself, so I wish for her also!
May your wishes come true!
I think I’m going to head over to the Wishcasting Website! It’s a lovely idea.
As Wendy wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.
Blessings,
Joane
I hear ya Wendy! I did all the same things myself (once or twice) with my blog. You will get there, you sound like you really understand what you wish to achieve. As you wish for yourself, Wendy, so do I wish for you as well.
As Wendy wishes for herself, so I wish also:)
I understand as well–I’m still working on my blog (a work in progress, just like me).
As Wendy wishes for herself, I wish for her as well.
PS. Love your cats. I’m a bit of a cat lady myself–I have two beauties/cuddlers.
As Wendy wishes for herself, so I truly wish for her also.
A wonderful, nurturing wish! As you wish for yourself, so I wish for you as well.
And…Miss Bella and Sele are beauties.
Wendy, I wanted to suggest writing from your heart-which would make tending to your blog alot easier. However, your blog is more than writing. It’s about sharing your passions with fellow bloggers.
My cat is also black with green eyes!
Happy reading!
As Wendy wishes for herself, I wish for her also.
What a lovely idea! I read “The Wishing Year” a while back but didn’t really do anything about it. I like the idea that a wish is “putting it out there.”
Anyway, I join with the others in wishing for you what you wish for yourself. I know you will accomplish it.
What a beautiful and heartfelt post! Wishcasting sounds like a wonderful idea. I have been liking all the changes you’ve made to your blog. It’s looking great, Wendy!
xoxo Theresa

Wonder, wonderful wishes!
As you wish for yourself, I wish for you as well. :]
Looks like you’re already tending to the blog. And as you wish for yourself, so I wish for you too!
As Wendy wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

Oh, I’m sorry that you’re struggling with financial issues and your kitty. Sending you lots of blessings that you find the money you need for both yourself and your kitty. I know I get very anxious and depressed when my “girls” get sick : (
